I was reading a novel by Pearl S. Buck concerning China and life in general for the Chinese people in the ancient times. It was a very interesting novel about how the Chinese people lived their lives and about their unique beliefs and traditions . My cousin loves to read ancient poems and literary compositions about life in general. She in point of fact convinced me one time to attend a poetry reading assembly and it was a wonderful experience for me because the literary works we read were a good read.
