The title of this blog says it all… The hunger is finally back, the will to succeed.. dominate, whatever.. is back. I got complacent for a while after the two big scores and Winning the UB major even furthered my complacency.. I thought I could just play my C game and still make a ton of final tables.. 4 years ago thatd be the case, but the players are way too good in todays game.. Last night I won the 23KO on FTP outright. Winning a tourney does great things to my confidence, even if it was a 20-180 man.. it would give me that confidence to dominate… Today I had some money put in my UB account because I plan on winning a Triple crown this week, I final tabled both of the tourneys I played on UB but busted in 6th twice. I also final tabled the nightly 100k but busted in a disappointing 5th.. either way im playing really well again and plan to finish out this year really strong. Best of luck

Yesterday I woke up ready to win the 5200 WCOOP Main Event, and the FTP 500..  I busted in the 4th hour of the WCOOP Main after not being able to get much going.. and I went deep in the ftp 500 but busted when I shoved 15 bbs on the button with 5s, only to be snapped called by the sbs 66. This week I am going to play 100 6 max sngs at 109 level +.. I think Im finally done with tourneys for the most part because if you look at my volume in the last few weeks, its probably the lowest its been in a long time. The Doylesroom tourney is next Saturday and Ill probably play that… You probably wont see me in too many tourneys anymore, im going to focus on higher stakes sngs and maybe the occasional cash games. Ill still be around for the Sunday Majors, and the occasional weekly donkament. I just can’t deal with how stressed I get after a few days of MTTs… If I keep at the pace I am now im going to have a heart attack at 30. I change my mind all the time though so we’ll see:)  Best of luck at the tables.

My goal at the beginning of the month was to play 40k cash game hands at 6 max nl and full ring. Coming into this post I’ve only played 5500 hands but I think taking a few days off and focusing on cash games has really helped my mindset and my tourney game. I realized I wasn’t three betting nearly enough in the middle stages of tourneys. As such, I took obvious three betting cash game hands and situations and applied them to tourneys. It must have worked because I won big double B after a long heads up battle with a solid player named ManchVegasPwn on the forums.

The first ItwasSuited.com Invitational tourney will be next Wednesday September 10th at 6pm Pacific time. This should cater to the east coast players and the west coast players. The entry fee will be 10 dollars +1 and there will be 50+5 dollar stake bounties on ICallSeat3 as well as myself. On September 27th Doylesroom.com is hosting a tourney with a prizepool of 250k. There are 10 bounties at $1000 each and for anyone who has not yet played on Doylesroom.com I can tell you depositing couldn’t be easier.
